Commercial Photography
Light-Works produces photography for use in advertising and marketing. We photograph products and people with the goal of assisting our clients in their efforts to communicate the benefits of the products and services they offer to their clients.
We often do this in partnership with advertising agencies and marketing firms that hire us on behalf of their clients. However, we also offer our services to businesses directly. There are four menu tabs (upper right corner) that highlight examples of our photography work. There you will find work produced by Don Farrall and by Madison Sobotka. You will also find examples of food photography, and some examples of finished advertisements.
We have a well-equipped studio, conveniently located just East of the Lincoln Telegraph District, at 2348 N Street. We also do photoshoots on location.

Video Production
Our extensive experience in the realm of commercial photography has equipped us well as we have ventured into video production. We are now in our fourth year of producing video content. We often do this in partnership with advertising agencies and marketing firms that hire us on behalf of their clients. However, we also offer our services to businesses directly. Under the menu bar (upper right corner), you will find a Video tab, where you can see sample videos.
Video Production is often about telling a story. Sometimes the message is simple, “here is my product, here's how it looks, and here are it’s features and benefits”. Sometimes the story is complex, with emotional overtones. Sometimes the story is educational, with the goal of emparting specific instructional content. Crafting a video that meets the needs of our clients has been critical to our success in this medium.
We want to tell your story in a compelling way that will keep your audience and that will elicit the desired response. We strive to make video content that is technically excellent. With an extensive background in photography, we put extra emphasis on lighting. Unfortunately, for many video content producers, lighting is not given the attention it deserves.
We have the tools necessary to produce quality content, either in-studio, or on location. We additionally have an in-studio audio/video room, an amenity that few local video production companies have.
